Cultural Day
The students of Hibiscus International School represent 25 countries from around the world, creating a wonderfully diverse learning environment. We embrace this diversity by hosting Cultural Day annually, where students showcase their countries’ cultures and explore others.
Cultural Day is one of our most exciting events, encouraging family participation. It provides students with opportunities to utilize their skills while strengthening family bonds, fostering collaboration for the child’s development.
Sports & Family Day
Sports Day is one of the highly anticipated events each year at Hibiscus International School. All four School Houses—Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz—participate in a variety of sports races and activities designed for the occasion.
Led by students and supervised by teachers, the house system plays a pivotal role in school activities. Our school is divided into four houses—Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Topaz—each student being assigned to one. This creates four extended families of students and teachers.
Houses compete in various activities such as sports and decorating House Boards according to the monthly theme. This fosters loyalty among students to their respective groups and promotes teamwork toward shared goals.
At Hibiscus International School, we prioritize building strong relationships with our students’ families. Parent involvement is encouraged in most events and activities.
Graduation Day
Graduation Day is a cherished celebration at Hibiscus International School, where families gather to witness their children crossing the stage. It marks the eagerly awaited cap-throwing ceremony for our senior students. The event, orchestrated by the school, is overseen by teachers and led by our students.
Held annually in June at the culmination of the third academic term, Graduation Day commemorates the advancement of Year 11 students as they prepare to further their studies. The day features performances by students from all classes, including rehearsed dances, theatrical acts, orchestral performances, and more. It is a joyous occasion cherished by students, parents, and teachers alike.
