With British National Curriculum being the core of teaching, however, the music program is also tailored with musical activities to foster excellence in music-making students. These are exploratory activities that are imaginative, inspiring and fun to create an enjoyable music lesson for all students.

Teaching music in the Elementary and Primary years program places a strong emphasis on feeling a steady beat, identifying the different ways of using the voices, creative movement and beautiful, expressive singing. Singing games, dances and movements are some of the important means of musical learning in the early years. The Secondary music program includes a well-rounded program whereby music classes offer opportunities to develop further the skills of performance, and concentration, which also serves to complement the successful development of self-confidence, and other learning skills.

The facilities in the music room include personalized keyboards, classroom percussion instruments, smart board and other electronic devices. All students will get to perform at least once during the school years. The music department is also offering extra-curricular activities in music.
